Who we are:


The Oxford Area Recreation Authority (OARA) is a Pennsylvania municipal authority incorporated in 2003 to provide shared recreation facilities for a population of approximately 15,700 residents of East Nottingham Township, Lower Oxford Township, Elk Township and the Borough of Oxford, serving approximately 60 square miles.

Mission:

The OARA is dedicated to providing quality visitor experience in the Oxford Area Regional Park by providing an attractive, safe, and clean environment with quality facilities and effective public service.  The OARA will work in partnership with other community organizations, government entities and individuals to plan, direct, manage, and evaluate the operation of the park in an accountable manner befitting resourceful public service.
